Is an independent production company that was created with the aim of creating quality cinema and audiovisual content, seeking out new creative talent and contributing to the enrichment and development of the Spanish audiovisual sector beyond its borders. A further goal of the company is to attract foreign productions and to provide production services, given its knowledge of the international market.
Cristóbal García
He holds a degree in Audio-Visual Communication and two master’s degrees (Management and Administration of Audio-Visual Companies and Audio-Visual Script Creation). He started his professional career spending six years at Morena Films, where he started out as a production assistant and eventually became the Head of Business and Legal Affairs in films including BON APPETIT, CELL 211, EVEN THE RAIN and WHITE ELEPHANT. He then worked at Telecinco Cinema as Head of Business Affairs in feature films like SPANISH AFFAIR, KIKI and PERFECT STRANGERS, and he produced the documentaries OMEGA and ALEJANDRO SANZ. In January 2018, he ventured into independent production as a co-founder of La Terraza Films.
Javier Ugarte
His career started out at McCann-Erickson and then he delved into the world of cinematography distribution at Buenavista International (Disney). He then spent 15 years working as a Producer at Telecinco Cinema, heading box office successes like CELL 211, THE IMPOSSIBLE, SPANISH AFFAIR, EL NIÑO, SPANISH AFFAIR 2 and TO STEAL FROM A THIEF jointly collecting more than twenty Goya awards. In 2016, he ventured into independent production to produce SARA’S NOTEBOOK and YUCATÁN together with Edmon Roch, until he co-founded La Terraza Films in January 2018.

Arancha R. De Buen
After working in the banking sector in London and in computer systems in the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000, she entered the film industry in 2003. Worked for fifteen years in the Executive Production area of some of the main independent film production companies, such as Morena Films, Avalon or Wanda Vision, being part of films such as CANTÁBRICO, EL FARO DE LAS ORCAS, BON APPÉTIT or CELDA 211. In addition, she has worked as a television producer (Planeta Calleja). She joined the Financial Department of La Terraza Films as Financial Controller in 2019.
Laura Castro Otero
With a Degree in Law and Business Administration and Management, she also holds a Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession from the UAM and a Master’s Degree in Film Industry Management from Carlos III University. She started working in audiovisual production at the Film and Audiovisual Arts Institute (ICAA), in the Selective Aids and Cost Recognition Departments, and then continued at Macaronesia Films in the legal and tax area, focusing on the study of tax incentives for films. Later she joined La Terraza Films, where she is responsible for Business & Legal Affairs.
María López Soleto
She studied a Cinematography Degree with specialization in Direction and a Master´s Degree in Film Industry Management from Carlos III University. She was part of the direction department in productions like VELVET COLECCIÓN or SIN FIN. In 2021, she joined the Development department at La Terraza Films.
Paloma Díaz López
She is a graduate with a degree in Journalism and Social Media and holds a Master´s Degree in Film Industry Management from Carlos III University. After working in communication for companies such as AMC Networks, she began working in audiovisual production at the Film and Audiovisual Arts Institute (ICAA), in the Qualification, Selective Aid and Cost Recognition departments. In 2021, she joined La Terraza Films as Production and Administration Coordinator.
