The Dinner

PREMIERE · 17 October, 2025

SYNOPSIS

Spain, 1939. Just two weeks after the end of the Spanish Civil War, General Franco orders a celebratory dinner at the luxurious Hotel Palace in Madrid. A young lieutenant, a meticulous head waiter, and a group of Republican prisoners—men from the opposing side of Franco’s regime but gifted in the kitchen—are forced to deliver a banquet in record time. Everything seems to be running smoothly, however, the cooks are planning not only the feast, but also their own escape.
