Barcelona, late 60’s. Eugenio Jofra (David Verdaguer), a young jeweller, meets Conchita (Carolina Yuste) on a bus. Immediately, they fall for each other and begin the love story of a lifetime. Eugenio learns to play the guitar to accompany Conchita, which will force him to overcome his stage fright and thus will begin the musical career of “Els dos”. One day, Conchita has to leave Barcelona for two weeks so she convinces Eugenio to perform by himself, when she returns, Eugenio has become a phenomenon of underground comedy in the city. Little by little, the two of them will build a character: the glasses, black shirt, stool, cigarettes and highball glass, will become an unexpected success in a Spain full of hardship, desperate to laugh with this unique comedian who begins all his jokes with “Saben aquell…”
